Annual Prize Recognizes Excellence in Writing and Thinking

We’re pleased to announce an annual scholarship competition, the Acutrack Scholarship, that encourages students to read, write, and share positive experiences.

Our annual scholarship award of $2,000 goes to the student judged by our team to have submitted the most compelling essay responding to our prompt: Write about a book that has had a significant impact on your life.

The competition is open to any United States high school senior or college student and requires the submission of an original essay of at least 500 words addressing the prompt.

Essay Submission Dates and Guidelines

We’ll accept submissions for the 2024 Acutrack Scholarship from November 1, 2023, through February 29, 2024, and announce the winner in March 2024.

Our essay prompt intentionally allows for wide-ranging submissions because we want to learn more about books from all genres.

Application for the scholarship award requires students to write an original essay of at least 500 words and demonstrate accomplished writing skills. We also require each submission to have a cover letter clearly stating the student’s name, school, and graduation year.

Acutrack’s staff will read and evaluate each entry with an eye for original writing that avoids plagiarism and is not AI-generated. It should demonstrate critical thinking skills, clarity of message, and conciseness.

We’ll give preference to an essay that uniquely discusses a book, shows how it influenced the writer’s life, explains why the book may help others, and makes a case for others to read it.

Our Scholarship Competition Complements Our Business

We are strongly interested in excellent writing because our business focuses on successful authors and their books. Many members of our team, including our CEO Raj Barman, are book lovers, and we always enjoy hearing people’s recommendations. We are interested in reading all qualified entries and awarding our scholarship to the winner.

Our scholarship is meant to reward one dedicated student, and we’re pleased to be a small part of supporting their journey in higher education.
